Civic Capital is a call to fundamentally shift the way we understand the value embedded into civic assets, how it can be actualized, captured and redistributed. Civic Capital aims to explore and experiment in developing the next generation of system financing tools and models for our current and future commons and collective wealth. We believe this will reconfigure the way cities, citizens, communities, investors and businesses work together.

With our partners from Community Foundations of Canada, Evergreen Brickworks, Maison de l’Innovation Sociale, MaRs, McConnell Foundation, we are launching the Civic Capital Movement, a shared global platform for experiments around exemplary innovations, practices, tools and models inspired from global best practices that hold the promise of renewing, restoring and advancing the commons.
