Why is the economy so deeply entangled in our current crises and planetary challenges? Through time we have learnt to collaborate, share and survive via economic innovations, solutions and models. We have created transactions and involved Earthly materials and objects that are not truly ours to neither own nor request. We have been deluded by the power of a false richness and have forgotten about the elementary drive of doing, living and being art. We have taken the meaning of economy from a state of being in balance with all to a destructive form of egoistic self-realisation for purpose and success. We are developing and implementing a series of exploratory methods for economic art mediums through 5 everyday ideas installations through Economic Spaces. The installations are physical public art installations and exhibitions. We share our thoughts and what has come out of the catalyst stage of learning, studying and discussing with partners and organisations with shared mindsets and goals. These installations simultaneously create tangible real-world experiences of future economic possibilities whilst prototyping the dark matter innovations necessary for this future.
