Developed by Dark Matter Labs in collaboration with CAFx - Copenhagen Architecture Forum and Form Design Center Malmo, this initiative explores cascading effects of introducing a Policy of Zero Extraction. How would such a policy be designed, and what other enabling policies it needs to be accompanied by, in order to catalyse the effects across governance, finance, culture, tech and crafts?
This work has been exhibited and presented in the region at Copenhagen Architecture Forum, Form Design Center in Malmo, Assemble conference in Copenhagen and Architecture day Sweden, and will continue in 2026 with a series of events - evolving the idea and gathering partners around shifting the policy for the Built Environment - towards futures of zero extraction.
